MFTStamps’ Watercolor Birthday Card

I am excited to share with you my latest MFTStamps’ Color Challenge Card.

For challenge # 232, I loosely watercolored the heat embossed design using My Favorite Things Premium Dye inks – Sour Apple, Lazy Day, and Vintage Timber. (White is the fourth color this week.) I simply stamped the pad onto my glass mat, added a couple of drops of water, and watercolored as usual. Since white was the fourth color, I made sure to leave a lot of white space on my card. I also added a tiny bit of Jalapeño Popper and Blue Yonder for a shadow/depth effect.

For the sentiment, I doubled the shadow by using both white cardstock and vellum.
