For this week’s My Favorite Things sketch challenge no. 694, I turned the oval into an underwater rock formation using the Under the Sea Die-namics and used mermaids for the diagonal elements. I made a quick watercolor background using Distress Oxide Inks (Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire), ink blended the die-cut pieces (see photo), and colored up the adorable mermaids from Mermaid for Each Other using alcohol ink markers.
