I definitely had fun experimenting and creating this die cut, multi-layered card with the Altenew CAF: Orchids Layering Die Set. The colors I used are the colors from the current Altenew Inspiration Challenge.
First, I sprayed some watercolor paper with Ranger Dylusions Shimmer Sprays – Bubble Gum, Fresh Lime, and Pure Sunshine.

After the paper dried, I die-cut my floral pieces. To deepen the color, I also added some additional ink blending to the floral pieces using Altenew’s Crisp Dye Inks – Magenta, Fushia, and Coral Berry.

For the background, I dry embossed some black cardstock with the Blossoming Branches 3D Embossing Folder and lightly added some shine with Altenew Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink. After die cutting 3 more layers, I assembled the card using Instant Dimension Foam Adhesive Tape under each of the top two layers and under each flower for lots of added dimension. I finished the card by adding a few gold half-back beads to add a little bling.
