Wow! This is an incredible collection! 😍
For the Yana’s Daisies collection from Spellbinders, I made a total of 6 cards. It is such a wonderful set. There are several Better-Press plates and dies, stencils, a die set, and an embossing folder.

For this first card, I used Yana’s Daisies Etched Dies, Molded Frame 3D Embossing Folder, and Crafty Hugs Sentiment Press Plates and Dies. I kept the design and colors classic with white, gold, neutral gray, and a pale green. For the focal floral, I used the floral die to cut both a white and gold layer, using the gold layer on top for the leaves, centers, and outlines. I heat foilded the Crafty Hugs Sentiment Press Plate with gold foil and added a few embellishments.

For this card, I used the same Yana’s Daisies Etched Dies and sentiment set. However, this time, I used the outline die to partially die-cut my background, thus creating an organic division line between my upper and lower halves. I created the pink and orange background using Lindy’s Magicals and watercolor paper. I took my color inspiration cue from the DIY Color Deck; the color deck is an outstanding creative tool. It is perfect for ideas and to encourage you to try new color combinations. After the partial outline was cut, I embossed the background with Yana’s Daisies Etched Dies so that I would have petal details in my lower layer. Then, I used the same die a second time with black cardstock so that I would have lots of contrast when I layered the black die cut on top of my embossed paper. I finished the card by adding some white splatter, a pressed sentiment, and a few enamel dots.

For the third card, I used the Daisy Trio BetterPress Plate with matching stencils and the Crafty Hugs Sentiment BetterPress Plates and Dies Set. First, I inked the plate with BetterPress Black Ink a couple of times to make sure I had good coverage. After printing my daisies, I used the matching stencil set with pink, yellow, orange, and green dye inks. I finished the card with a hot foiled sentiment and a few embellishments.

On this card, I used the same press plates and stencils as the previous card, but this time, I used the press plate to emboss a plain white cardstock panel before stenciling my daisies. I used some softer ink colors and added a little Distress Oxide Black and White with a micro blending brush at the end to soften the look of the flowers even more. My color inspiration came from another DIY Color Deck card.

For these last two cards, I used the Daisy Shower BetterPress Plates with matching stencils and Crafty Hugs Sentiment Press Plates and Dies. After selecting another DIY Color Deck Card and dry embossing my white panel with the Betterpress Plate, I used the matching stencils to ink blend my florals with the selected colors.

For this final card, I used the same Daisy Shower BetterPress Plate and sentiment set as above. This time, I inked the press plate with three different BetterPress Ink colors (Peridot, Leaf, and Azure), creating an ombré effect.
