Field Notes Collection by Spellbinders

Hello, fellow cardmakers. Today, I am sharing three cards that were made with the new Field Notes Collection from Spellbinders.

For my first card, I created the background using Ranger Green and Gold Sprays on watercolor paper. Then, I dry embossed it with the Fresh Picked Floral Frame 3D Embossing Folder. After cutting it down and distressing the edges, I added a faux string and bow using the Field Notes Twine Etched Dies and a black Flower Mini 3D Wax Seal with a little added metallic gold marker. The sentiment is from the Through the Meadow Sentiment BetterPress and Die Set.

For my second card, I used the same embossing folder with a little ink blending. On all the die cut pieces, I also added some additional color and shading with ink blending. For the tools, I used a mirrored cardstock from Your Paper Insider, and I attached the vellum to the magnifying glass using Elmer’s Disappearing Purple Glue Stick. I like the overall vintage feel of this card.

For the third card, I created my background with some ink smooshing and spatter. After assembling the Wildflowers, I decided to add some small gems as centers. I used black gems to repeat the same color from the scissors and matting layer. The foil cardstock on the scissors is also from Your Paper Insider.
