The Spellbinders’ theme for this month’s club products is so cute… Nautical! I used the June Club products to create these cards.
For card above, I used the June Wax Seal, Stencil, and Embossing Club of the Month Products. First, I ink blended a cardstock panel with several blue inks and the June Sencil of the Month, Rolling Tide, before dry embossing with the June Embossing Folder of the Month, Mariner’s Weave. Next, I used the June wax beads to create the “Seas the Day” wax seal. After the wax seal was cool, I used a silver metallic Posca Marker to go over the letters. Now, I was ready to assemble. I wrapped the bottom with some silver metallic DMC thread before adding my wax seal on top. I then adhered the panel to my cardbase. These products make a beautiful card with lots of texture that comes together quickly.
For this next card, I also used the June Stencil of the Month Set, Rolling Tide. Bonus… it includes both patterns ❤️! I also used the same blue dye inks to quickly stencil my background and then stamped out my sentiments using the Clear Stamp and Die Set of the Month, Anchors Away. I decided to add an additional layer of vellum under my sentiments to help them stand out. I finished the card by adding a mirrored nautical border. I used two products that will be released on June 10th – Say Cheese Classic Mouse Borders and Aquamarine Assorted Treasured Cardstock.
